As you might imagine, liposuction costs vary depending on body part, individual person, and clinic. Every person is different, and there’s no such thing as “one-size-fits-all” liposuction. In addition, the prices clinics charge are usually based on factors such as the specific procedures they offer, the equipment they use, the clinic’s accreditation, the skill of the surgical staff, and the surgeon’s level of experience.

Number of Procedure Areas
If you’re like most people who seek liposuction, you may have a few bothersome areas on your body that just don’t respond to diet and exercise. For example, you may be carrying a bit too much fat on your belly, and want abdominal liposuction, and at the same time, want to sculpt your legs a little with inner thigh liposuction.
It’s absolutely possible to have liposuction on more than one area of the body at the same time. However, there is a limit to how much fat can be extracted from the body all at once. Your surgeon will discuss these options with you when you book your consultation.
Body parts that are pairs such as arms, inner and outer thighs, and love handles, are considered as one area, and are priced as such.
Additional areas of liposuction start in $3,500 plus tax, depending on the complexity of the body part, and how much fat there is to remove.
If you plan to have liposuction on multiple areas of your body, it may be more cost-effective to do them all at once, if possible. This can reduce additional costs for things like anesthesia.
Type of Anesthesia
The body area where liposuction is performed will usually determine what kind of anesthesia is used. For example, liposuction to reduce a double chin may only require local anesthesia, which, of course, will cost less than general anesthesia.
However, for a larger body area such as the abdomen, general anesthesia will provide more comfort and safety for you during the procedure. This will add $1,000 to the base liposuction cost.
Type of Liposuction
In addition to the standard type of liposuction with which you are probably already familiar, TCC is proud to offer SmartLipo™. This is a form of laser-assisted liposuction in which laser light is used to soften the fat before it is extracted.
SmartLipo™ makes the fat removal process easier and less traumatic on the surrounding tissues, thereby providing smoother results, and decreasing recovery time. It will usually add $1,000 to the base liposuction cost.
Hospital or Clinic Facilities
If liposuction is performed in a hospital due to a patient’s particular health concerns, this will increase the overall cost. Specific factors include, but are not limited to the use of a hospital operating room, surgical equipment, and staff.

Finance Your Liposuction Costs
We think you shouldn’t have to wait to look better, and more importantly, feel better about yourself. To help our patients afford liposuction, we offer financing options. When you apply, we’ll take a look at your credit history to determine your qualification and financing amount. Upon approval, you can book a date for your procedure. Afterward, you’ll make monthly payments. Financing can help you get where you want to be sooner rather than later.
Other Factors Contributing to
Liposuction Cost
Overnight Stay
Liposuction performed at TCC doesn’t require an overnight stay. However, if the liposuction is performed in a hospital, you may feel more comfortable staying overnight for observation. Added costs will include, but not be limited to, the type of room you choose (private vs. semi-private), meals, and any hospital-administered medication.
Home Medical Assistance
For more invasive liposuction procedures, we encourage our patients to stay with a friend or family member afterward. If this is not possible, you may want to consider hiring a home health care worker to help take care of you. The cost of this will depend on the type of worker you hire (registered nurse, registered practical nurse, or personal support worker), and how long they stay.
Scar Treatment
Because incisions don’t need to be large to accommodate liposuction cannulas, any resulting scarring is usually minimal. Over time, the scars will fade, but you may wish to expedite the process.
We offer scar removal treatment at TCC, which can help scars fade more quickly than they would naturally. Depending on the scar treatment your doctor recommends, this can increase your overall liposuction cost.
