Or it could be that you simply want to add volume at the same time. This will be a personal choice, of course. A few other factors that can help you make a decision are:
- Your nipples and/or areolas point down
- You’ve lost volume in your breasts
- Your breasts no longer feel full or firm
- Your breast skin has been stretched, and you’ve lost skin elasticity (especially after weight loss, breastfeeding, etc.)
- Your areolas are stretched

How is Breast Lift with Implants
Performed?

Breast lifts with implants are usually performed under general anesthesia, so you won't feel any discomfort or pain during the procedure. It's outpatient surgery, so you won't need to stay overnight, and can go home the same day. Surgery generally lasts two and a half to three hours.
Taking into account your specific anatomy and desired results, your surgeon will make incisions on your breasts according to the amount of lift you need. First your surgeon will place the implant as this will effect how much or whether any excess skin is removed. Next, the nipple and areola will be moved up, and the remaining skin is then sutured together.
After your surgery, you'll spend one to two hours in the recovery room. The incisions will be covered with sterile gauze, and your breasts will be wrapped in thick bandages to keep them in place so they can begin to heal. Our surgical staff will give your caregiver instructions to care for the surgery site.
Your surgeon will also prescribe pain medication to alleviate discomfort, and possibly an antibiotic to ward off infection.
