Information About Toronto
As our name implies, Toronto is our home. It's not quite like the big cities of the U.S., but in turn, this is what makes it special as one of the main cultural meccas and business centers of Canada. Toronto is home to not only the commercial hustle bustle, but major parks, beaches, a variety of historical sites, art galleries and museums. It's perfect for anyone who's a visitor to this city and to our cosmetic surgery clinic. So if you're new to the city, and to our cosmetic surgeons and medical professional staff at Toronto Cosmetic Clinic, feel comfortable knowing that there are places where you can relax, be entertained and make your stay worthwhile.
People
This is one of the distinguishing features of Toronto: a vibrant multi-cultural population. Taking a walk downtown, you'll hear more languages spoken than most people do in a lifetime. The predominant language used in most places is English, unless if you happen to find yourself in places like the heart of Chinatown. The advantage though is that, somewhere, most people will find something familiar, a reflection of their heritage.
For visitors to our cosmetic surgery clinic, chances are you'll find something to be at home with in Toronto. Alternatively, there's something new to explore. Our Toronto based cosmetic surgeons and staff may even be able to suggest something for you in this regard.
Restaurants
A feature of Toronto's mixed population is that each group has tried to maintain their heritage in one important way: food. Whether Asian, Arabic, African, European, South American and many, many more, Toronto's diversity is unlike most cities where such a selection tends to be concentrated in the downtown core.
The best concentration of such restaurants can be found in the heart of one of the city's many cultural "villages." Toronto's Chinatown, Greektown and Little Italy, to mention a few, sport some of the finest.
Besides the restaurants, there are numerous coffee shops, bars and less formal places to dine. A plethora of dining options can even be found around our cosmetic surgery clinic.
Transportation
Whether you have an appointment with one of our cosmetic surgeons or need to get to an art gallery, Toronto has an excellent public transportation system. While some of us prefer to drive, you may want to take a streetcar, bus or subway. After a night out on the town, it's comforting to know that the subway runs as late as 2:00 am, and there are 24 hour bus routes, too. Toronto Cosmetic Clinic is situated conveniently near the subway line, and is serviced by a 24 hour bus route.
The simplicity of the main public transit system, the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC), is that you need only pay one basic fare to get where you need to go. In fact, you'll find that most natives use the TTC, even when they have a car, due to the hassles of finding parking. However, parking can be found within steps of our cosmetic surgery clinic.
If you're from out of town, there is a hotel located conveniently within walking distance of Toronto Cosmetic Clinic.
Accommodations
After a session with one of our Toronto based cosmetic surgeons, you'll be happy to know that there are various accommodations across the city. Everything from 5 star hotels to less expensive ones can be found in convenient locations, whether you're at the airport, downtown or even within walking distance of our cosmetic surgery clinic.
Entertainment and Sites
For visitors, before leaving, you may want to see some of the sites such as the ever popular CN Tower, a play in the Theatre District, the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), exhibitions at the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) or one of the many private galleries, like those along Queen Street West. All can be easily accessed by the subway from Toronto Cosmetic Clinic.
There are several free city publications featuring events listings. At stands ubiquitous around Toronto, they can be found in particular at TTC stops, including ones near our cosmetic surgery clinic, and at local businesses. All contain listings of events, movies, plays, exhibits, and feature ads from local businesses.
