Dr. Behnaz Yazdanfar

Dr. Behnaz Yazdanfar is a Toronto doctor based in North York, Ontario, Canada. Residency brought her back to the University of Toronto, after which she has continued to travel extensively to keep up to date with the latest advances in cosmetic surgery. In recent years she has traveled to Dubai, France, Italy, Austria, and the USA for a string of conferences and symposiums dedicated to the field, as well as has attended several live cosmetic surgery workshops.

She has been trained by the leading surgeons in the world including Dr. Patrick Lillis, one of the world masters in tumescent liposuction, Dr. Giorgio Fischer, the Italian surgeon who invented liposuction with his father, Dr. Lisborg, the president of the Austrian Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and Dr. Fournier the famous French surgeon and one of the pioneers of liposuction. Dr. Yazdanfar has also been trained by Dr. Robert Jackson, the former president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and current board examiner for the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. In 2005, she performed surgery with Dr. Jackson in the surgical centre of Toronto Cosmetic Clinic.

Dr. Behnaz Yazdanfar is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery, the Canadian Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery Inc.

She is also the recent recipient of Excellence in Cosmetic Surgery Education, received through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
