TEOSYAL® is an injectable filler manufactured by Laboratoires TEOXANE, a Swiss based company specializing in wrinkle-filling implants. TEOSYAL® is transparent and based on hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin. It is designed to treat wrinkles, alter contours of the face and neck, restore volume and rehydrate.

The popularity of TEOSYAL® is due to several reasons. First, the product does not migrate to other areas after injection, staying in the same position where it was intended to be. The hyaluronic acids in this filler are quite viscous and dense, achieving maximum durability. There are two TEOSYAL® products currently available at Toronto Cosmetic Clinic: TEOSYAL® Ultimate and TEOSYAL® Kiss.

TEOSYAL® Ultimate is designed to specifically target wrinkles, creases and undesirable contours on the face and neck that require larger volumes of injectable filler. It can be used for the following areas:

• The upper cheeks, to add volume and treat wrinkles
• The temporal region which includes the area near the outer corner of the eye and temples, mainly where dynamic wrinkles appear
• Marionette lines, which are creases extending from the outer corners of the mouth downward
• The nose, to alter contours and eliminate wrinkles

• The jawline, to reduce the appearance of jowls and alter contours
• The eyebrows, to treat minor sagging

TEOSYAL® Kiss is designed for lip augmentation. Its unique gel formula makes it suitable for the sensitive area around the lips. It can reshape, redefine, rehydrate and boost volume, giving you a sexier, more luscious pout. Vertical wrinkles may also be smoothed out with treatment. TEOSYAL® Kiss is injected using a fine needle, allowing for precise administartion, and treat the following aesthetic problems:

• Smokers' Wrinkles (vertical wrinkles)
• Asymmetry
• Lack of definition, particularly the Cupid's Bow (the upper lip line)
• Insufficient volume
