Rosacea

Rosacea is a common skin disorder, particularly fro women between 30-50 years old. Sufferers of rosaea have red and inflamed blotches on their skin that most often appear on the face, sometimes accompanied by acne. Nobody knows the exact reason why rosacea occurs, but what we do know is that the condition can be aggravated by factors that dilate or enlarge the blood vessels. Such factors include drinking alcohol, sun exposure, and eating spicy food.
While rosacea does affect the self esteem and self confidence of most sufferers, hiding it can often make the condition worse. It is is highly recommended that harsh cosmetics are not used, as they may irritate the skin. Rather, gentle cosmetics enriched with essential mineralsand suitable for sensitive skin should be used instead.
Rosacea on the face and body can be treated with photorejuvenation, Contour ™ MicroLaserPeel , or laser skin resurfacing.
