Liposuction should not be considered a treatment for celluite. It is designed to eliminate saddlebags, pot bellies, and all those other problems that negatively affect the aesthetics of your body contour – but it doesn’t get rid of orange peel skin.

Liposuction can even make cellulite appear worse. This is often the case for patients who have cellulite and poor skin elasticity.  It is true that laser assisted liposuction can tighten the overlying skin in the treated area, but the best results still appear in individuals with good skin elasticity.
