A Few Things to Consider When Deciding on Breast Implant Size

Don’t know how big to go for your Toronto breast augmentation? You know you want to be bigger, but how big is right for you? Consider these factors to help you decide on the right size for you:

1. Lifestyle. Play sports a lot or are physically active most of the time? If you are, larger breasts may impede your performance by getting in the way. Take Australian Olympic hurdler, Jana Rawlinson, for example. She got breast implants then decided to have them removed about a year later so that she could be in optimum physical shape for the Olympics in 2012.

Think about that when you’re deciding on size.

2. Your body frame. If you’re on the skinnier side and don’t have much of your own natural breast tissue, then larger implants may look odd. Plus, you may experience more stretch marks. Larger body frames generally are able to support larger breast implant sizes.

3. Employment. Although many people don’t think that their job isn’t something to consider, think about this: most of us spend the majority of our days at a job. A dramatic change may cause a few eyebrows to raise and tongues to start wagging.  If this is of no concern to you, then disregard this.

When you come in for your consultation, you’ll be able to try out a few sizers so that you can “test run” some implants. As a result, prepare for your consultation by bringing in a few bras in the sizes you’re thinking about so that you can put them on and get a better feel. Although they might not be exactly how they’ll feel following breast augmentation surgery, you’ll get the general idea.
