Anna asks…
I’ve lost a ton of weight over these couple of years due to a great diet I was on. I’m happy about the weight loss, but now I’ve got massive folds of baggy skin on my thighs, arms and stomach. It looks really gross! I can’t wear new clothes because I’m still trying to hide my body. Is there anyway I can get rid of this? Please help!
Thanks for the question.
Sounds like a lift or tummy tuck would be the best solution. A lift is a cosmetic surgical procedure that removes excess skin. Although it can also remove excess pinchable fat, it is mainly designed to get rid of the skin that didn’t tighten up after dramatic weight loss. You may want to opt for a “body lift”, which will target all of those areas you mentioned. Or, you can also just go for one area, like the stomach. Usually, if it’s just the stomach you’re targeting, that’s called a tummy tuck.
For specific pricing for a lift, you’d have to see our patient consultant during a free consultation. Tummy tucks start from $7000.
