Does liposuction get rid of cellulite?

While liposuction does get rid of subcutaneous fat, it is not designed to eliminate or minimize cellulite. As a matter of fact, in some instances liposuction may even worsen the appearance of cellulite.
Rather, cellulite can be treated by what is known as a “lift”. Whether for the buttocks, thighs or arms, a lift is a surgical procedure that removes skin afflicted with cellulite, excess fat, and also tightens the skin to achieve a more desirable contour.
If you’d prefer the nonsurgical route, an FDA approved technique known as Endermologie® can also effectively minimize and eliminate cellulite.
