Did you know that the makeup on your face can fade faster in the winter than at other times of the year?

Dry and cold weather is cruel not only to your skin, but also to your makeup as well. Like skin, makeup is robbed of moisture during this season, which makes it disintegrate faster.

During winter, you may want to switch the products you usually use for ones that contain moisturizing ingredients, like Vitamin E and aloe. A makeup primer, like gloLid Primer, can also help. But don’t continue using these in the summer, when it’s too humid and hot. These products may leave your face a mess because the increase in moisture can make it more prone to smudges and runs.
