Don’t you just hate that despite all of the time, money and care you invest in your skin, your man (being the rugged kind) remains totally clueless to the term skin care. The only step in his skin care regimen involves washing his face with soap while he takes a shower.
While the bathroom counter and cabinet overflow with creams, lotions, serums and powders specially designed to achieve smooth and flawless skin for you, his little space on the shelf is only occupied by shaving cream, a razor and maybe some aftershave. That’s it.
And yet he still has smoother skin than you.
Here’s his secret: he shaves on a regular basis. Shaving, while cutting away hair protruding from the surface of the skin, also exfoliates. Dirt, grime, and dead cells that accumulate on the very top layer of the skin are removed with frequent shaving, allowing fresher cells to appear. So, while he may not use as many, or any skin care products, he still gets that smoothness all women covet.
This isn’t to say that we recommend you shave as a way to exfoliate the skin. We’re just letting you in on his secret.
