Liver Spots
Some of us call those brown spots on our skin “liver spots”.
Did you know that liver spots have nothing to do with the liver? They aren’t caused by liver problems, as once believed. In fact, these discolourations of the skin are caused by long term sun exposure and a build up of melanin. Technically known as senile lentigines, liver spots are just a result of too many hours in the sun without protection.
If you’ve got liver spots and want to get rid of them, laser resurfacing may help. Call us for more details!
