Scrub a Dub Dub!

Ahhh…who doesn’t enjoy spending the evening leisurely soaking in the tub? Surrounded by warmth, your muscles relax and the stress of the day melts away…

Unfortunately, we’ve got bad news for you. Taking long and hot baths can actually be bad for your skin. You know how your skin prunes after you sit in the water for too long? Well, it’s a good indication that your skin has been robbed of its natural oils. Without these protective oils, your skin can dry out faster (which isn’t so bad on those humid days, but can be disastrous when it’s colder and more arid).

To prevent drying out the skin, keep bath time to about 15 minutes or shorter (and find another way to relax!)
