Don’t know how to remove a tattoo? It’s pretty easy!

Just call 416-221-5554 to book your free consultation with a medical professional at Toronto Cosmetic Clinic . One of the least invasive forms of tattoo removal involves no surgery, no painful incisions, and no lengthy procedure. Your tattoo can be removed in a series of simple sessions using a high tech laser that zaps away the dye that forms the tattoo. Each session starts from $250. Pricing and the number of sessions required to achieve desirable results depend on your tattoo.

Define: Cankles http://www.tcclinic.com/blog/treatments/cankles.html http://www.tcclinic.com/blog/treatments/cankles.html#comments Fri, 02 Jan 2009 12:50:47 +0000 alissa http://www.tcclinic.com/blog/?p=708 If you have ankles that look like they’re simply an extension of your calves, then you’ve got cankles. Cankles are considered unattractive because with them, the legs don’t elegantly taper into the feet. Instead, the legs tend to look like two “stuffed sausages” with feet attached to them. Fluid retention and fat are two reasons why this phenonmenon occurs.

In the event your cankles are the result of the presence of unwanted fat deposits, one of the most effective ways to get rid of them is to undergo the laser assisted liposuction technique, Smartlipo. A tiny cannula is used during the Smartlipo procedure, allowing the easy removal of fat in the delicate area of the ankles.

Liposuction isn’t a solution for cankles resulting from fluid retention. You’ll have to address the underlying problem in order to solve this cosmetic dilemma instead.

What a Facelift is Actually For http://www.tcclinic.com/blog/treatments/faceliftarea.html http://www.tcclinic.com/blog/treatments/faceliftarea.html#comments Tue, 30 Dec 2008 13:05:37 +0000 alissa http://www.tcclinic.com/blog/?p=841

Practically everybody knows what a facelift is. But did you know that it’s designed to rejuvenate a particular part of the face? While overall, it does make you look refreshed and younger, the procedure targets the bottom portion of the face specifically. This means that the best results will be achieved not so much on the forehead, but more in the area of the cheeks and jawline. The neck can also benefit. It will not correct the wrinkles around the eyes so much. For this problem, cosmetic eye surgery would be better suited.

So, if you’ve got saggy skin and jowls, a facelift may be the solution! Find out more about the procedure by contacting us at 416-221-5554.

Injectable Bone http://www.tcclinic.com/blog/cosmetic-surgery-technology/injectableartificialbone.html http://www.tcclinic.com/blog/cosmetic-surgery-technology/injectableartificialbone.html#comments Mon, 29 Dec 2008 12:50:33 +0000 alissa http://www.tcclinic.com/blog/?p=971

British scientists have invented artificial bone that can be injected into the body in a nonsurgical procedure. The artificial bone assists the body in the creation of actual bone tissue and blood vessels by acting as a scaffold. Stem cells can also be directly delivered to the targeted bone.

The artificial bone “flows like toothpaste” but once injected, hardens by body temperature to simulate bone. It creates a porous and biodegradable structure.

Scientists hope that this artificial injectable bone will replace or reduce the number of surgical procedures that repair bone in the future, once the clinical trials prove its safety and effectiveness. The clinical trials are taking place in the UK and within a year and a half, it may be made available in the States.

Injectable bone does not damage other areas that aren’t targeted, unlike other products available on the market today.

The technology could be beneficial for cosmetic surgical procedures that require alteration to the bone, such as rhinoplasty.

Do it for yourself http://www.tcclinic.com/blog/cosmetic-surgery-and-society/cosmeticsurgerychoic.html http://www.tcclinic.com/blog/cosmetic-surgery-and-society/cosmeticsurgerychoic.html#comments Fri, 26 Dec 2008 13:05:09 +0000 alissa http://www.tcclinic.com/blog/?p=857 A study conducted by Dr Debra Gimlin of Aberdeen University found that British women were more likely to get cosmetic surgery to make them more desirable for a particular man. Americans, on the other hand, were more likely to get cosmetic surgery for themselves. The 60 women who participated in the study were from 23 to 52 years old, 40 of which were from the UK and 20 of which were American.

The results of this survey are unfortunate, since cosmetic surgery is specifically designed for an individual who has made the decision of their own volition, not to please someone else. On top of that, when you do it for yourself, the results are generally much more satisfying.

Don’t Forget About Your Waistline! http://www.tcclinic.com/blog/treatments/fatreductionrecovery.html http://www.tcclinic.com/blog/treatments/fatreductionrecovery.html#comments Tue, 23 Dec 2008 13:15:36 +0000 alissa http://www.tcclinic.com/blog/?p=855 Just a reminder to all of those who have undergone a fat reduction procedure recently, and are in the process of recovering:

If you’ve had liposuction, UltraShape, or a tummy tuck and want to maintain the best results from your treatment, don’t forget about following a healthy lifestyle over the holidays.

That means no gorging on food and keeping up with your exercise regimen. It might be a little hard when everyone else is stuffing their faces around you, but remember - your waistline will thank you.

Save on Micro Laser Peels! http://www.tcclinic.com/blog/around-tcc/microlaserpeelsspecialprice.html http://www.tcclinic.com/blog/around-tcc/microlaserpeelsspecialprice.html#comments Fri, 19 Dec 2008 13:10:04 +0000 alissa http://www.tcclinic.com/blog/?p=680 Minimize or eliminate the appearance of wrinkles, scars and hyperpigmentation with a Micro Laser Peel. A Micro Laser Peel is a revitalizing treatment that restores the youthfulness of the skin by gently ablating the top layers of skin with a specially designed laser. It targets problems that may not be treatable by other procedures such as microdermabrasion and chemical peels.

The price for each treatment was originally $800, but is now $350. That means you’ll save a whopping $450 on each session! It’s a great deal, if you ask us.
