Summer’s over, you’ve graduated and it’s time to get a job. But with that tattoo on your arm for the world to see, it could affect your chances of getting that job you’ve applied for.

Survey after survey has proven that tattoos do generally hinder one’s ability to get a job. While this may not be true for some jobs, like working in a tattoo parlour or even at Toronto Cosmetic Clinic, the majority of employers of white collar jobs still carry a more traditional mindset and find visible tattoos a turnoff.

So, it’s your choice. To have food on the table and a roof over your head, you can wear long sleeves even in the sweltering heat of the summer, or just get your tattoo removed with laser tattoo removal.
