According to The Freedonia Group, an international business research company, the demand for cosmetic surgery products such as breast implants and injectables in the US are predicted to increase in the years to come.

It is believed that a huge boost in the demand for breast implants is provided by the return of silicone implants, particularly those with cohesive gel filling. In the area of injectables, Botox and hyaluronic acid based products, such as Juvederm, contribute to growth. Alternatives to BOTOX® include Dysport and Mybloc while alternatives to Juvederm include Restylane, Radiesse and Hylaform.

Products that have the most favourable outlook are those used in noninvasive procedures. Aside from injectables, there will be a steady demand for laser and pulsed light platform equipment, despite their cost. That means treatments such as laser tattoo removal, photorejuvenation and laser skin tightening will probably continue to grow in popularity.
