Cosmetic surgery is hot in Spain - so hot, in fact, that the number of cosmetic procedures performed in the country outnumbers any other country in Europe. It’s a billion dollar industry.
There are an estimated 400,000 cosmetic procedures performed every year, with most performed on women. The usual treatments of breast augmentation, liposuction and tummy tucks are the most popular. Facial surgery, including rhinoplasty and blepharoplasty round out the top treatments.
It’s so popular that even the Crown Princess Letizia had a nose job.
