Trout Pout!

Okay. So most of the time the results from a cosmetic surgical procedure, invasive or not, are great. The results look natural, subtle, and the patient’s physical appearance immensely improves. But sometimes, results are far from appealing.
It could be the fault of an inexperienced or poorly trained cosmetic surgeon, but that’s not always the case. Sometimes, patients become “obsessed” or “addicted” to cosmetic surgery, and they just go too far. They want bigger, smoother, more youthful, or whatever.
Here are some words to describe when people just go too far. (These probably won’t make it into the Oxford dictionary, but who knows?)
Bat brow: a facelift that causes the skin on the forehead to be stretched too much, affecting the eyebrows.
Chiclet teeth: white, white teeth as a result of overly bleached veneers.
Chipmunk Cheeks: overly prominent cheek implants.
Frankenboobs: breast implants from breast augmentation that look too round and prominent.
Trout pout: abnormally inflated lips caused by too much injectable filler.
In any case, if they’re happy with the results, what can you say? It’s their choice, after all. However, a responsible cosmetic surgeon will not perform a procedure if they think no more “improvement” can be made, or if it threatens the health of the patient.
