Canine liposuction. No, it isn’t some new type of liposuction technique. It’s liposuction…for your dog.
Countries such as Germany and Australia have been offering the cosmetic surgical procedure to our furry friends for years now. Although most of the recorded procedures have been performed on canines that had lyphomas (cancer of immune system cells) and fatty tumours, doctors do consider performing liposuction purely for those that are overweight.
Other cosmetic procedures that have been performed on dogs include those to improve and enhance the aesthetic appearance of the teeth and, interestingly, testicular implants.
