2008 Laser Treatments Stats
The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS), a reputed organization which primary physician at Toronto Cosmetic Clinic, Dr. Behnaz Yazdanfar, is a member of, recently released its statistics for 2008 and found that non-invasive laser treatments, like laser skin tightening and laser tattoo removal, are growing in popularity.
Most notably is the significant increase in the number of men and women opting to undergo laser resurfacing, a rejuvenating procedure that reduces and eliminates wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and other blemishes. Over the past three years, the number of men increased by a whopping 456% while women increased by 215%.
