I have hair growing right near my eyes. I find it very unattractive, and was wondering if laser hair removal can treat it.

Dr. Yaz says:
Lasers are intense beams of light that are effective in targeting a number of indications, including destroying/impairing hair growth. However, because of its intensity, it can also damage certain parts of the body that are sensitive to light, specifically the eyes.

During the laser hair removal procedure, special eyewear is worn to protect the eye from the harsh light of the laser. As a result, areas in close proximity to the eyes cannot be treated by lasers for hair removal or any other condition. Anywhere near the eye that is bound within the eye socket cannot be treated as a general rule. Basically, this means anything above the cheekbone and below the bone of the eyebrow.
