Spring is finally here! Fashion trends are marked by the ultrafeminine in an easy, breezy style that accentuates comfort.
Luxuriously soft and wickedly sexy, silk is back. Silky dresses and tops in a single colour graced the catwalks for Spring 2009. Pick a hot colour like silver, gray or gold, and don’t forget the shoes. Comfortable ballet slippers with a gentle silk or satin exterior complete the look.
Unfortunately, though silk feels fabulous, it is unforgiving. It has a tendency to press against the skin with every movement, highlighting those lumps and bumps you’d rather keep hidden.
Bet you’re glad you kept up your diet and exercise regimen through the winter. (And if you didn’t, it’s still not too late to get a little liposuction before the summer!)
