Mmmm…soft, luscious and oh-so-feminine breasts. On guys.
On guys? Think singer Robbie Williams, celebrity Simon Cowell and the enlightened one, Buddha. Pronounced nipples and a chest with noticeable ta-ta’s that would make some women jealous. Yikes!

Man boobs or “moobs” are perceived by many as one the biggest threats to masculinity. Plus, just like for women, what’s more disturbing is that one boob might even be bigger than the other.
Though gynecomastia is common for boys around puberty, men in their latter years, and the overweight, it doesn’t make it any easier to live with. Happiness and self confidence are affected and in many cases, exercise, diet and a healthy lifestyle do not help to get rid of what is commonly perceived as an embarrassing condition. Not even those magical potions and pills advertised on television work (beware - some may even be dangerous to your health). It may sound a little scary, but the only way to really get rid of man boobs is through surgery: male breast reduction surgery and/or liposuction to be precise.
Basically, surgery follows the same general steps as for a women with large breasts. With liposuction, only fat will be removed. However, if excess skin and breast tissue also exist, a more extensive procedure is required to firm up your chest. Laser-assisted liposuction alone may also do the trick, as the skin can be tightened by the effects of the laser.
But before you think about getting rid of your male breasts with a surgical procedure, talk to your doctor or a cosmetic surgeon first. Sometimes, a more serious reason contributing to the development of gynecomastia may exist that may require attention before you can deal with your chest.
